Introduction

AgentMaurice SAS ("we", "our", "us") operates the AgentMaurice platform and website (agentmaurice.ai). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation EU 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details: name, email address, company name, when you use our contact form
  • Account information: credentials when creating an account on our platform
  • Communications: content of messages you send us

Technical information and optional measurement

  • Website measurement, only after your consent: page path without query parameters, language, and clicks on selected calls to action. A random session-only identifier counts these events; we do not link it to an account or organization.
  • Technical data: services necessary to operate the website may process connection data. PostHog receives a network connection after your consent; our PostHog project is configured not to store your IP address with events, and we disable geographic enrichment for these measurements.
  • Strictly necessary cookies: session identifiers, language preferences

In accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR, we process your data on the following bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to provide our services when you create an account or subscribe to our platform
  • Legitimate interest: to improve our services, ensure platform security, and respond to your contact requests
  • Consent: for optional website measurement and marketing communications. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with our accounting and tax obligations

How we use your information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support
  • Ensure security and prevent abuse
  • Send relevant communications (only with your consent)
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

Data retention

  • Account data: retained for the duration of your account, then 3 years after closure
  • Contact form data: 3 years from last contact
  • Billing data: 10 years (legal accounting obligation)
  • Technical logs: 12 months
  • Cookies: 13 months maximum
  • Website measurement choice: stored in your browser for no more than 180 days; the random measurement identifier lasts for the session and is deleted when you withdraw consent.
  • Optional measurement events: PostHog Cloud retains events on the free plan for one year (PostHog's published retention period). Withdrawing consent stops future sends but does not shorten this period for events already received.

Data sharing and transfers

We never sell your personal data.

We may share your data with:

  • Technical subprocessors: hosting (OVHcloud, France), email services, analytics tools — all bound by GDPR-compliant data processing agreements
  • Competent authorities: only when required by law

Transfers outside the European Union

The site is hosted in France by OVHcloud. If any subprocessors are located outside the EU, transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Data protection

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Strict access controls on personal data
  • Access monitoring and logging
  • Regular backups

Your rights (GDPR)

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15): obtain a copy of your personal data
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16): correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17): request deletion of your data
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18): restrict the processing of your data
  • Right to portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object (Art. 21): object to the processing of your data
  • Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

We will respond within one month. In case of unresolved dispute, you may file a complaint with the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority): cnil.fr.

Cookies

After you consent, we send one page view and clicks on a limited set of named calls to action to PostHog EU Cloud. The fields we add are language, a static path without URL parameters, the call-to-action category, and the “site” surface. We do not send typed text, email addresses, names, full URLs, or query parameters. Autocapture, session recordings, and heatmaps are disabled. No measurement request is sent before consent or after refusal.

An allowed One installer report is a separate signal. With an explicit yes, or the --report-installation flag, the installer sends the same pseudonymous event to get.agentmaurice.app and to PostHog EU: a random installation id, the One version, the operating system, and the CPU architecture. It does not send a name, a path, or a pairing link. To exercise your rights, email privacy@agentmaurice.ai.

Accept and Refuse have equal prominence. You can reopen the choice using Analytics choice in every page footer and withdraw your consent. Withdrawal stops future sends; it does not automatically remove events already received. To exercise your rights concerning these data, email privacy@agentmaurice.ai.

Minors

Our services are not intended for persons under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy. In case of material changes, we will inform you by email or via a notice on our site. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this page.
